THE DAY:-
The society was made to feel at home straight from our arrival as in house Society Director Colin looked after our needs from the clubhouse side and on the first tee. Very impressive!
Perfect weather throughout was matched by almost perfect golf by Captain Dean Willcox with a career high 39 point total.
''I was smoking my 5 iron'' he said post round. (I thought he'd given up the fags over a year ago!!)
In runners up spot again was Pete Draper with a well constructed 34 points. The highlight coming midway through his round on the 8th hole. A 110-yard hole out for an EAGLE saw him amass 5 points on the field. Which was eventually the winning margin!

In third was Ben Jackson with a determined 32pts. His highlight coming with back to back birdies on the 9th and 10th. ''I think Pete's eagle gave me the impetus to eventually get my round going!!!' he said.
The CBGS are definitely putting WESTWOOD GC on their 2015 roster! - it's an interesting course and they were made to feel special.
The day was concluded back at the restaurant with 11 diners enjoying a prize presentation banquet meal!
