In keeping with the tradition of Golf housekeeping and in order to reflect our members golfing ability, the following system has been devised to ensure that everyone has a fairer chance of competing against each other.These rules follow the guidelines set out for most Golf Societies and golf club handicap systems.

 

PLEASE NOTE THE NEW SYSTEM FOR THE 2016 SEASON  (All existing handicaps WILL follow over for the new season)

 

1. A member shall not receive a higher handicap than an official club handicap

2. The par for a course shall be 36 stableford points (if playing full handicap)

3. Players finishing in the top two places will be docked the following percentages. 1st place = 15% from their handicap, 2nd place = 10% from their handicap.

4. The other players finishing under the event average will receive 0.5 of a shot back.

5. These handicaps will run infinitum.
