THE DAY:-
One of, and if not, the finest days so far for the CBGS. Temperatures rose into the mid 30s as Disley's greens tested the boys in red! 'They must've been at least 10 on the stintmetre.
New member Rob Tabbron took the spoils with a fine score of 34 points shooting only 3 over par gross on the back nine. Pete Draper finished an admirable second with the same score but a better back nine by the newbie saw him take the spoils!
Other notable steady scores were from 'Mr Captain' (AKA Dean Wilcox) coming 3rd with 32 points and 7 handicapper Chris Pollard only a point behind his skipper with a decent 31 points.
The day was concluded back at the restaurant with 17 diners enjoying a prize presentation banquet meal!
