THE DAY:-
A glorious day saw CBGS battle round in their first event of the 2014 season. The runaway individual winner was Dr Ed Beckett (20) with a fine prognosis in reading Macclesfield's tricky greens. Perhaps he had the advantage considering it was his own course! ;)
Stalwarts Mike Schrempft (24) secured a very creditably second with Roger Pickles coming 3rd.
The team winners were led home by Captain Dean Wilcox (18), Mick Hatton (18), Roger Pickles (20) and the 'spicy hot' Ed Beckett (20)!!!
The day was concluded at the restaurant with 13 diners enjoying a prize presentation banquet meal!
